Recitation of Top Memorizer in Malaysia Int’l Quran Contest (+Video)
KUALA LUMPUR (IQNA) – Footage has been released in social media of the recitation of the Quran by a memorizer from Ginea who won the top title in Malaysia’s 63rd international Quran competition.
Omar Toure came first in the recitation category of the competition.
In this footage, he recites verses 80-81 of Surah Al Imran:
“A Prophet would never order you to take the angels and the Prophets as your Lords. Would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted yourselves to God? When God made a covenant with the Prophets, saying, ‘When I give you the Book and wisdom and a Messenger comes to you who will testify to the guidance which you have received from Me, you must believe in him and help him, then He asked them, "Do you affirm and accept my covenant?’ They replied, ‘Yes, we affirm it.’ The Lord said, ‘Then bear witness to this and I shall bear witness with you.’”
